Basketball Recap: Osbourn Comes Up Short

Osbourn was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their 16th straight defeat dating back to last season. They took a 34-21 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Rock Ridge Phoenix. The Eagles were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Phoenix apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in January of 2024.

Osbourn's defeat dropped their record down to 0-15. As for Rock Ridge, the win snapped their losing streak at six games and leaves them with a 3-11 record.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Osbourn won't have much time to rest: their next contest is against Osbourn Park at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. One thing working in Osbourn Park's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last four games. As for Rock Ridge, they will also get right back to it: they'll take on Warren County at 7:15 p.m. on Thursday.
