If Clinton Christian Academy wanted to avenge their loss from the last time they played Plaza Heights Christian Academy, they should've done a better job of containing Reece Cornine. Plaza Heights Christian Academy came out on top against the Clinton Christian Academy Patriots by a score of 45-34 on Thursday thanks in part to Cornine, who went 9 for 14 en route to 21 points and four steals. She is on a roll when it comes to steals, as she's now grabbed three or more in the last 17 games she's played.

Ava Collier was another key player, putting up six points and seven boards. The dominant performance also gave her a new career-high in assists (four).

Several Patriots players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Audrey Foster, who dropped a double-double on 11 points and ten rebounds. Another player making a difference was Carissa Compton, who posted six points.

Plaza Heights Christian Academy is on a roll lately: they've won nine of their last ten matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 18-7 record this season.
