Valley hasn't lost a match since December 27, 2024, a trend which continued in their latest game on Thursday. They walked away with a 2-0 victory over the Johnson Warriors. Given the Vikings' advantage in MaxPreps' California soccer rankings (they are ranked 79th, while the Warriors are ranked 450th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Brian Perez and Alonso Perez scored both of Valley's goals, bringing their combined season tally to five goals.

Valley has been performing well recently as they've won eight of their last ten contests, which provided a nice bump to their 15-1-5 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 29 goals over those ten matches. As for Johnson, they moved to 5-3-3 with that defeat, which also ended their three-game winning streak.
