Baseball Recap: Wabash Takes a Loss

Wabash was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They took an 8-4 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Logansport Berries. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Apaches of the 12-5 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in May of 2024.

Wabash's record is now 8-12. As for Logansport, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four games. That's provided a nice bump to their 13-9 record this season.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Wabash will head out to square off against Whitko at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday. The Apaches' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Wildcats have averaged an impressive 8.1 runs per game this season. As for Logansport, they will head out on the road to challenge Rochester at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday.
