Volleyball Recap: Skipstone Academy Takes a Loss

After flying high against Community Christian on Tuesday, Skipstone Academy came back down to earth. The Warriors came up short against the Trinity Christian School of Griffin LIONS on Thursday, falling 3-0. The defeat continues a trend for the Warriors in their meetings with the LIONS: they've now lost four in a row.

Skipstone Academy took the loss but they managed to make steady progress, increasing their score in every set they played. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-14, 25-16, 25-23.

Carsen Hale was nothing short of spectacular for Trinity Christian School of Griffin: she had seven digs and four aces.

Skipstone Academy's loss dropped their record down to 3-12. As for Trinity Christian School of Griffin, they now have a winning record of 9-8.

We've got plenty of inter-region action coming up soon. Skipstone Academy will take on rival Rock Springs Christian Academy at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Trinity Christian School of Griffin is set to square off against their familiar foe Konos Academy at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday.
