Volleyball Recap: Calvary Baptist Academy Triumphs

Calvary Baptist Academy posted their closest win since September 5th on Saturday. They narrowly escaped with a victory as the squad sidled past the Covington Lions 2-1. The win was some much needed relief for the Cavaliers as it spelled an end to their three-match losing streak.

The victory got Calvary Baptist Academy back to even at 14-14. As for Covington, they have been struggling recently as they've lost 14 of their last 18 matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 8-16 record this season.

Coincidentally, Calvary Baptist Academy and Covington will both be playing Fontainebleau the next time they take the court. The Lions will head out to face the Bulldogs at 11:30 a.m. on Saturday, while the Cavaliers will play them later in the day, at 1:30 p.m.
