Baseball Recap: Madera South Comes Up Short

Madera South was the 15-10 winner over Selma when they last played one another back in May of 2023, but their luck changed this time around. The Stallions fell 7-2 to the Bears on Tuesday.

Madera South saw seven different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was David Moles, who went 1-for-3 with one double and one RBI.

Madera South dropped their record down to 3-14-1 with the loss, which was their fourth straight on the road. As for Selma, the win was the tenth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 12-5.

Coming up, Madera South will be taking part in a tournament against Chavez at 12:30 p.m. on Wednesday. The Stallions' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Titans have averaged an impressive 8.5 runs per game this season. As for Selma, they will take on Yosemite in a tournament on Wednesday.
