Softball Recap: Ellis Comes Up Short

Ellis scored first but ultimately less than Larned in their contest on Friday. They lost 21-4 to the Indians. While the Railroaders didn't get the win, they did start the game off strong, beating the Indians 4-0 in the first period.

Ellis saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Maleah Vine, who went 1-for-2 with two RBI and one double.

Ellis' loss dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Larned, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 3-2.

While Ellis had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair will be back at it again later today.
