Softball Recap: Magee Trojans vs. Seminary Bulldogs
Magee was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. Their rough 21-3 loss to the Seminary Bulldogs might stick with them for a while. The result was an unpleasant reminder to Magee of the 8-7 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in April of 2023.
For Seminary's part, Carlyn Underwood was incredible, scoring three runs and stealing three bases. Another player making a difference was Presleigh Atwood, who scored three runs and stole two bases while getting on base in three of her four plate appearances.
Magee's loss dropped their record down to 1-9. As for Seminary, their victory bumped their record up to 9-6.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Magee will square off against Jefferson Davis County at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Seminary, they will head out on the road to challenge Mize at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday.
