Baseball Recap: Powers Catholic Takes a Loss

Powers Catholic was the 5-2 winner over Goodrich when they last played one another back in June of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Chargers took a 6-2 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Martians on Monday. The Chargers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Powers Catholic's defeat dropped their record down to 7-10. As for Goodrich, their victory bumped their record up to 19-6.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Powers Catholic will venture away from home to square off against Standish-Sterling at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Goodrich, they will head out to challenge Port Huron at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
