Volleyball Game Preview: Hackensack Comets vs. Bergen Catholic Crusaders

The Hackensack Comets will face off against the Bergen Catholic Crusaders at 4:15 p.m. on Tuesday. Both come into the contest bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Having struggled with three defeats in a row, Hackensack turned things around against Bergenfield on Saturday. They narrowly escaped with a victory as the team sidled past the Bears 2-1. Surprisingly, this marked the third straight game in which the away team has come away the victor in this series.

Garfield typically has all the answers at home, but on Saturday Bergen Catholic proved too difficult a challenge. They came out on top against the Boilermakers by a score of 2-0.

Hackensack's win bumped their record up to 17-7. As for Bergen Catholic, their victory bumped their record up to 23-1.

Hackensack couldn't quite get it done against Bergen Catholic in their previous matchup back in April as they fell 2-0. Can the Comets avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
