Volleyball Recap: Frederic Extends Winning Streak to Three

After losing to Cornell the last time they met, Frederic decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. The Vikings sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 2-1 victory over the Chiefs on Saturday. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest win the Vikings have posted since September 21, 2024.

Taylor Hansford paced Frederic's offense, picking up ten kills. Hansford got some help from Kenna Chenal and her eight assists.

The victory (which was Frederic's third in a row) raised their record to 6-7. As for Cornell, their loss dropped their record down to 2-5.

Frederic wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 2-1 win against South Shore on the 20th. As for Cornell, they will welcome Birchwood at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
