Football Recap: Orono Takes Down Ranked Bucksport + How To Watch

Orono faced Bucksport in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Friday. The Riots walked away with a 45-36 win over the Golden Bucks. The Riots haven't had any issues with the Golden Bucks recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive victory against them.

Kason Bagley had a dynamite game, rushing for 139 yards and three touchdowns while picking up 7.7 yards per carry. That's the most rushing touchdowns he has posted since back in September of 2024.

Bagley was just one part of a punishing run game: Orono was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 327 rushing yards. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Bucksport didn't rushed for any.

Orono's record is now 6-2. As for Bucksport, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost four of their last five matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 3-5 record this season.

As of now, neither Orono nor Bucksport have any future games scheduled.
