Lincoln East faced Millard South in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Wednesday. The Spartans blew past the Patriots 4-1. Lincoln East might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won 11 games by three goals or more this season.

They hit Millard South with a three-pronged attack, as the team got scores from MaKynlie Cade (2), Elizabeth Burhoop, and Piper Purvis.

Lincoln East has been performing well recently as they've won seven of their last nine contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 12-4 record this season. As for Millard South, their defeat was their third straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 8-8.

As of now, neither Lincoln East nor the Patriots have any future games scheduled.
