Volleyball Recap: Canyon Takes a Loss

Canyon was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They fell 2-0 to the Taft Toreadors. If the Cowboys were looking for revenge after losing 2-0 to the Toreadors when the teams met back in September of 2019, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Canyon's loss dropped their record down to 9-15. As for Taft, they are on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last eight matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 18-5 record this season.

Canyon will face off against Saugus at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Taft, they wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next game, a 2-1 victory against Cerritos on the 20th.
