Lakewood can bid farewell to their four-game losing streak thanks to their game on Monday. They came out on top against the Horizon Hawks by a score of 7-2 (the very same score they lost by in their prior game). That looming 7-2 mark stands out as the most commanding margin for the Tigers yet this season.

The team relied heavily on Izzy Mejia, who went 2-for-4 with one stolen base, one run, and one double. Harrison Meade was another key player, going 1-for-2 with one triple and two RBI.

Lakewood's record now sits at 7-16. As for Horizon, they have been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 9-14 record this season.
