Soccer Recap: Westminster Christian Academy Starts Season with Win Against Hazel Green

Westminster Christian Academy took care of business in their home opener (and then some) on Friday. Their defense stepped up to hand the Hazel Green Trojans a 3-0 shutout. The score was close at the half, but the Wildcats pulled away in the second half with two goals.

Hazel Green now has a losing record of 2-3.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Westminster Christian Academy will head out to challenge East Limestone at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Hazel Green, they will head out on the road to take on Lee at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
