Baseball Recap: Noble Street College Prep Has No Trouble Against Golder

Noble Street College Prep had to skate by with only a one-run margin when they last took the field, which might have inspired the ten-run drubbing they dealt Golder on Saturday. The Golden Tigers put the hurt on the Panthers with a sharp 11-1 victory. That looming 11-1 mark stands out as the most commanding margin for the Golden Tigers yet this season.

Ethan Gallegos made a big impact while hitting and pitching. He looked comfortable on the mound, striking out 11 batters over six innings while giving up just one earned run off one hit. Those 11 strikeouts gave him a new career-high. He was also solid in the batter's box, going 1-for-4 with two stolen bases, one run, and one RBI.

In other batting news, T'Shawn Chester was a standout: he got on base in all three of his plate appearances with four stolen bases and two runs. That's the most stolen bases he has posted since back in May of 2024. Another player making a difference was Michael Santiago, who went 1-for-3 with two stolen bases, two runs, and one triple.

Noble Street College Prep is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four contests. That's provided a massive bump to their 4-5 record this season.
