Decker Kleppin put up the most strikeouts he's had since back in April of 2024 on Monday. As a matter of fact, he produced his best game of the campaign: he struck out eight batters over six innings while giving up no earned runs off three hits. He has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't given up more than one earned run in five consecutive appearances.

Kleppin's strong effort led Random Lake over Kohler and he'll get a chance to do so again: the teams have a rematch scheduled at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. The Rams are 8-1 against the Blue Bombers going back to May of 2019, a lead they'll look to extend.
