Baseball Recap: 17 Straight Home Wins for Carl Albert

There's no place like home for Carl Albert, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Saturday. They were the clear victors by a 12-0 margin over the Guymon Tigers on Tuesday. Considering the Titans have won six matches by more than ten runs this season, Tuesday's blowout was nothing new.

Carl Albert let Lane Sexton and Beau Davis run wild. Sexton scored two runs while going 2-for-2, while Davis scored two runs while going 2-for-2. The dominant performance also gave Sexton a new career-high in doubles (two). Porter Cruze was another key player, scoring a run and stealing two bases while getting on base in all three of his plate appearances.

Carl Albert always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .645. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Guymon only posted an OBP of .077.
