Chicago Hope Academy barely beat Chicago Christian the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. Chicago Hope Academy was the clear victor by an 11-3 margin over Chicago Christian on Tuesday. Considering Chicago Hope Academy has won 11 matches by more than five runs this season, Tuesday's blowout was nothing new.

The victory was the sixth in a row for Chicago Hope Academy, bringing their record up to 17-7. The wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.7 runs on average over those games. As for Chicago Christian, their defeat ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 13-8.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Chicago Hope Academy is set to square off against their familiar foe Wheaton Academy at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Both teams are headed into the matchup with plenty of momentum (Chicago Hope Academy has won 27 straight at home dating back to last season, while Wheaton Academy won three straight on the road), something that'll have to change. Meanwhile, Chicago Christian will face off against rival Marian Central Catholic at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday.
