Gordo had to skate by with only a two-run margin when they last took the field, which might have inspired the ten-run drubbing they dealt Oakman on Monday. Everything went the Gordo Green Wave's way against the Oakman Wildcats as the Gordo Green Wave made off with an 11-1 win. The victory continues a trend for the Green Wave in their matchups with the Wildcats: they've now won four in a row.

The win got Gordo back to even at 2-2. As for Oakman, their defeat was their fourth straight at home dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 6-5.

Coming up, Gordo will welcome Sulligent at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Gordo will aim to continue their three-game streak of scoring more runs each match than the last. As for Oakman, they are taking a road trip to take on Pleasant Grove at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. Oakman has given up an average of 6.5 runs per game this season, so hopefully the team got some pitching drills in this week.
