Fowler has gone a perfect 3-0 against Walsenburg recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Friday. The Grizzlies will take on the Panthers at 7:00 p.m. The teams are on pretty different trajectories at the moment (Fowler has three straight wins, Walsenburg has six straight defeats), but none of that matters once you're on the field.
On Friday, Fowler took their contest with ease, bagging a 50-8 victory over Hoehne. The Grizzlies might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won four games by 42 points or more this season.

Fowler's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Bronson Damgaard led the charge by rushing for 125 yards and three scores on only 14 carries. The Grizzlies are 3-1 when Damgaard posts 100 or more rushing yards, but 1-2 otherwise. Daniel Adams was another key rusher, rushing for 84 yards and a pair of TDs on only seven carries.
Fowler didn't let much get past them through the air: they limited Hoehne to a completion percentage of just 47.4%. The Grizzlies hasn't an opponent to post a completion percentage of 0.4 or higher in four consecutive matchups.
Fowler's defense didn't let the opposing QB, get away unscathed either: they got into the backfield for three sacks. The team can thank two different players for their defensive prowess: Wade Clemmensen and William Carnes, who each picked up 1.5 sacks apiece.
Meanwhile, Walsenburg was within striking distance but couldn't close the gap on Friday as they fell 30-24 to Primero.

Fowler now has a winning record of 4-3. As for Walsenburg, their loss dropped their record down to 1-6.
Friday's contest might be decided on the ground. Fowler has been unstoppable on the ground this season, having averaged 267.6 rushing yards per game. However, it's not like Walsenburg struggles in that department as they've been averaging 172 rushing yards. There's a good chance Friday's game turns into a tough fight on the ground.
Everything came up roses for Fowler against Walsenburg in their previous matchup back in October of 2024, as the squad secured a 47-12 win. In that matchup, the Grizzlies amassed a halftime lead of 35-6, an impressive feat they'll look to repeat on Friday.
