Soccer Recap: Gilmer Wins Going Away Against Gordon Central

Gilmer kept a clean sheet against Gordon Central on Tuesday. They were the clear victor by a 6-0 margin over the Gordon Central Warriors. That's more bragging rights for the Bobcats, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Their offense was hitting Gordon Central from everywhere, as five different players booted in a goal. Sophia Lykins led that balanced group of strikers and accounted for two goals all by herself.

The win made it two in a row for Gilmer and bumps their season record up to a perfect 2-0.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Gilmer will host Lanier at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Gordon Central, they will be playing at home against Cedartown at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday.
