Basketball Recap: Haworth Takes a Loss

Haworth was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their 11th straight loss. They had to suffer through a 60-26 loss at the hands of the Battiest Panthers. Sadly, that's the second time they've come up short against the Lions this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 55-35 back in December of 2024.

Haworth's defeat dropped their record down to 1-14. As for Battiest, their win ended an eight-game drought at home dating back to last season and bumped them up to 4-12.

A feisty cat fight is on tap when the Haworth Lions duke it out with the Moyers Tigers at 6:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Battiest, they will look to defend their home court on January 30th against Soper at 6:30 p.m.
