Volleyball Recap: Centerville Takes a Loss

Centerville lost against South Adams back in August of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Bulldogs fell 2-0 to the Starfires.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-8, 25-17.

Camilla Waters paced Centerville's offense, picking up two kills. Waters also shared the team's lead in assists with Baylei Hughes: they picked up two each. Finally, Nellee Holmquist kept Centerville's defense grounded, leading the team with two blocks.

Centerville's loss dropped their record down to 1-1.

Centerville has already played their next match, a 2-0 defeat against Richmond on the 16th. As for South Adams, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 2-0 win against Franklin County on the 16th.
