Soccer Recap: Winslow Takes a Loss

After flying high against Maine Central Institute on Tuesday, Winslow came back down to earth. The Black Raiders fell just short of the Central Red Devils by a score of 2-1 on Thursday. Winslow were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced Central earlier this season, when they won 2-1.

Winslow has also traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 2-5 record this season. As for Central, the victory got them back to even at 4-4.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming matches. Winslow will square off against Waterville at 3:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Central, they will face off against Bangor Christian at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday.
