McDonell Central entered their tilt with Eau Claire Memorial on Saturday with 31 consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with 32. They came within a single set of losing the streak, but they secured a 2-1 W against the Old Abes. That's more bragging rights for the Macks, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Payton Hepfler paced McDonell Central's offense, picking up 12 kills. Hepfler got some help from Erin Siegenthaler and her 27 assists. Hepfler was also solid from the service line: she led the team with two aces.

Despite the loss, Eau Claire Memorial still got an impressive performance from Lauren Redwine, who had ten digs and one assist.
