On Tuesday Chadwick Brown tossed two innings while giving up just one earned (and one unearned) run off one hit. The performance also marked the most strikeouts (four) Brown has had since back in March. As if that's not impressive enough, the pitching appearance was his 12th in a row with less than two hits. On the year, he has an ERA of 2.67 over 18.3 innings pitched.

Brown's strong effort led Poplarville over Greene County and he'll get a chance to do so again: the teams have a rematch scheduled at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
