Basketball Recap: Waupaca Takes a Loss

Waupaca lost against Denmark back in January and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Waupaca Comets fell 39-31 to the Denmark Vikings. The match marked the Comets' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

Waupaca is on a six-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-5. As for Denmark, they moved to 1-3 with that win, which also ended their four-game losing streak.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Waupaca will take on Marinette in a holiday battle at at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Denmark and Fox Valley Lutheran will compete for holiday cheer at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
