Basketball Game Preview: Jumpertown Cardinals vs. Biggersville Lions

Jumpertown is 2-8 against Biggersville since January of 2020 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Friday. A feisty cat fight will be fought when the Cardinals challenge the Lions at 6:00 p.m. Keep an eye on the score for this one: the two teams posted some lofty point totals in their previous games.

Jumpertown is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Monday. They claimed a resounding 55-22 win over Potts Camp.

Meanwhile, Biggersville had already won two in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 19 points) and they went ahead and made it three on Monday. They breezed past the Eagles to the tune of 73-23. The Lions have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 13 games by 26 points or more this season.

Jumpertown is on a roll lately: they've won six of their last seven matches, which provided a massive bump to their 17-11 record this season. They've dominated over that stretch too, winning by an average of 30 points. As for Biggersville, they pushed their record up to 24-5 with the victory, which was their tenth straight at home dating back to last season.

Jumpertown was dealt a bruising 68-34 defeat at the hands of Biggersville in their previous meeting back in November of 2023. That contest was all but decided by halftime, at which point Jumpertown was down 42-18.
