Basketball Recap: Epping Comes Up Short

If Epping was riding high fresh off their 50-26 takedown of Profile last Sunday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Blue Devils took a 68-59 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Hinsdale Pacers on Saturday. The Blue Devils were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Pacers apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in January of 2025.

Epping's loss was their first in the league, dropping their league record down to 4-1 and their overall record down to 5-2. As for Hinsdale, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 3-0.

Looking ahead, Epping will be playing in front of their home fans against Nute at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. The Blue Devils will need to watch out since the Rams have now posted at least 55 points in their last three matchups. As for Hinsdale, they will head out on the road to challenge Newport at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Pacers will be up against the Tigers' rather soft defense (which has allowed 62.75 points per contest), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance.
