Baseball Recap: Curry Comes Up Short

Curry was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss. They lost 19-5 to the Fayette County Tigers. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Yellowjackets of the 3-0 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in March of 2025.

Curry saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Carson Dunagan, who went 1-for-3 with one stolen base and one RBI. Brayden Mcneal also deserves some recognition as he brought in his first RBI of the season.

Curry's loss dropped their record down to 2-12. As for Fayette County, their win bumped their record up to 9-13.

While Curry had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday.
