The West Aurora Blackhawks came into Tuesday's matchup having lost four straight, but that streak is now in the rearview. They came out on top against Oswego by a score of 51-39 on Tuesday. That result was just more of the same for these two, as West Aurora also won the last time the pair played back in November of 2023.

West Aurora's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Brooklynn Johnson, who dropped a double-double on 14 points and 12 rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Harmony Rush, who almost dropped a double-double on nine points and 13 rebounds.

West Aurora's win bumped their record up to 10-15. As for Oswego, they dropped their record down to 5-22 with that defeat, which was their fourth straight at home.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. West Aurora will take on the Wolves at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Oswego, they will stay at home for another game and welcome the Royals at 6:30 p.m. on February 1st.
