Apollo was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They lost 3-0 to the Detroit Lakes Lakers. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Eagles of the 3-0 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in October of 2023.

Hailey Thielen had an outrageously good game for Detroit Lakes as she had nine digs and seven aces. Those seven aces gave Thielen a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Annie Braaten, who had five aces, three kills, and three digs.
Apollo's loss dropped their record down to 1-14. As for Detroit Lakes, their victory was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 8-11.
