Volleyball Recap: Master's Academy's Undefeated Season over After Five Games

After flying high against Holy Cross Lutheran Academy on Tuesday, Master's Academy came back down to earth. Master's Academy came up short against Brentwood Academy on Thursday, falling 3-0. The loss put an end to Master's Academy's undefeated start to the season.

The final score came out to 25-14, 25-9, 25-8.

Brentwood Academy found their leader in sophomore Harper Broyles, who had 15 digs and two assists. Broyles is on a roll when it comes to digs, as she's now had ten or more in each of the last three games she's played.

Master's Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 4-1. As for Brentwood Academy, their win was their fifth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 8-1.

Coming up, Master's Academy will square off against Franklin Christian Academy at 10:30 a.m. on Friday. After both having extra time off, Brentwood Academy and Lipscomb Academy will shake off the rust and duke it out at 5:15 p.m. on Thursday.
