Plymouth had to travel to play their first game of the season, but the final result was worth the trip. They were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Rochester Zebras on Saturday. The win continues a trend for the Pilgrims/Rockies in their matchups with the Zebras: they've now won nine in a row.

Plymouth not only won, but also showed off some consistency: they kept Rochester between 18 and 20 points across their sets. The match finished with set scores of 25-19, 25-20, 25-18.

Emaline Vanduyne was the offensive standout of the match as she had 16 digs and two assists.

Plymouth has already played their next contest, a 3-0 loss against La Porte on the 19th. As for Rochester, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next game, a 3-2 victory against Pioneer on the 19th.
