Softball Recap: Tulare Western Mustangs vs. Arvin Bears

With a playoff win on the line, Tulare Western rose to the challenge on Friday. They skirted past the Arvin Bears 11-9. The high-flying hitting performance was a huge turnaround for the Mustangs considering their one-run performance the contest before.

Ky Taylor made a big impact no matter where she played. She looked comfortable on the mound, pitching seven innings while giving up four earned (and five unearned) runs off nine hits. Taylor was also solid in the batter's box, getting on base in all four of her plate appearances with one double and one RBI.
