Basketball Recap: Warden Comes Up Short

Warden suffered their closest loss since February 9, 2024 on Wednesday. They fell just short of the Mabton Vikings by a score of 64-61. While losing is never fun, the Cougars can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Washington basketball rankings (they are ranked 250th, while the Vikings are ranked 113th).

Warden's defeat dropped their record down to 4-16. As for Mabton, they are on a roll lately: they've won nine of their last 12 games, which provided a nice bump to their 15-6 record this season.

As of now, neither Warden nor Mabton have any future games scheduled.
