Soccer Game Preview: Warhill vs. Atlee

The Warhill Lions will head out to square off against the Atlee Raiders at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Neither team made it on the board the last time they hit the pitch, so they've probably got a bit of extra motivation.

Warhill heads in on the heels of a playoff match on Thursday. They fell just short of Jamestown by a score of 1-0.

Meanwhile, Atlee entered their tilt with Monacan on Friday with three consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with four. They came within a single goal of losing the streak, but they secured a 1-0 W against the Chiefs. Give Atlee's defense some credit: that's the team's fourth straight shutout.

Atlee's win was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 15-3. The home victories came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only given up zero goals over those three games. As for Warhill, their loss dropped their record down to 11-5-3.
