Recap: Pinnacle Classical Academy Eagles vs. Thomas Jefferson Gryphons
The Pinnacle Classical Academy Eagles lost against the Thomas Jefferson Gryphons back in December of 2019, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. Pinnacle Classical Academy was beaten by Thomas Jefferson 67-26. Pinnacle Classical Academy has not had much luck with Thomas Jefferson recently, as the team's come up short the last three times they've met.
Pinnacle Classical Academy lost despite a true team effort on the offense, the best among them being Lilly Price, who scored nine points along with five rebounds and three blocks. Those three blocks set a new season-high mark for her. The team also got some help courtesy of Akeelah Davis, who scored six points along with nine rebounds and five blocks.
Pinnacle Classical Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 4-4. As for Thomas Jefferson, their victory bumped their record up to 4-2.
Pinnacle Classical Academy will head out on the road to face off against Lake Lure Classical Academy at 3:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Lake Lure Classical Academy is out to stop a three-game streak of losses at home. Thomas Jefferson will be home for the holidays to greet The Master's Academy at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Master's Academy is also coming in off of a big victory, so somebody is in for a big reversal of fortune.
