West Lafayette never let their opponents score on Thursday. Everything went their way against the Crawfordsville Athenians as they made off with a 10-0 victory. The win continues a trend for the Red Devils in their matchups with the Athenians: they've now won five in a row.

Bree Johnson was incredible, scoring three runs and stealing a base while going 1-for-2. The team also got some help courtesy of Kerrigan Gooden, who scored two runs while going 1-for-2.

The victory got West Lafayette back to even at 1-1. As for Crawfordsville, they are on a five-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-2.

Coming up, West Lafayette will challenge Seeger at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Crawfordsville, they will welcome Attica at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
