Recap: Pearl City Wolves vs. Dakota Indians

The Pearl City Wolves's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Saturday after their 13th straight loss. They took a hard 53-35 fall against Dakota. Pearl City has not had much luck with Dakota recently, as the team's come up short the last three times they've met.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Dakota to victory, but perhaps none more so than Madison Binder, who scored ten points along with six rebounds and two steals. Binder is trending in the right direction, as she's improved her point production for three games straight. Another player making a difference was Finley Banks, who scored six points along with five assists and four steals.

Pearl City has been struggling recently, as they've lost 14 of their last 15 contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 3-20 record this season. As for Dakota, the win makes it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 10-15.

Pearl City will head out on the road to challenge West Carroll at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. West Carroll is out to stop a five-game streak of losses at home. Dakota will take on Pecatonica at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. Pecatonica presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than Dakota in Illinois (Pecatonica is ranked 129th, while Dakota is ranked 468th).
