Softball Recap: Presidio Blue Devils vs. Irvin Rockets
After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Canutillo, Presidio was happy to have turned things around on Friday. They put the hurt on the Irvin Rockets with a sharp 17-2 win. The high-flying hitting performance was a huge turnaround for the Blue Devils considering their one-run performance the matchup before.
Kesara Olivas made a big impact while hitting and pitching. On the mound, she pitched three innings while giving up just one earned (and one unearned) run off two hits. The dominant performance gave her a new career-low in hits. She was also solid in the batter's box, scoring two runs and stealing a base while getting on base in three of her four plate appearances.
