After dropping their season opener at home, Farmington is headed out to face a Chargers squad ready to give their home crowd a win. Peoria Christian fell just short of Roanoke-Benson/Lowpoint-Washburn by a score of 3-1 on Friday. Sadly, the defeat continues a streak the team started last season, making it five in a row.

Josiah Kniep was huge while hitting and pitching even without the win. On the mound, he pitched three innings while giving up just one earned run off two hits. Kniep was also big at the plate, going a perfect 3-for-3 with two stolen bases and one double. Those three hits gave him a new career-high.
