Soccer Recap: Hope Christian Starts Season with Win at Home + How To Watch

Hope Christian gave their fans exactly what they wanted out of a home opener on Wednesday. They blew past the Pojoaque Valley Elks/Elkettes 12-0. Hope Christian have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw Pojoaque Valley, too.

Hope Christian's offense was hitting Pojoaque Valley from everywhere, as nine different players booted in a goal. Maddy James led that balanced group of strikers and accounted for two goals all by herself.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Hope Christian will be taking part in a tournament against Manzano at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday. As for Pojoaque Valley, they will challenge Miyamura at 2:00 p.m. on Friday.
