Basketball Recap: LaSalle-Peru Takes a Loss

LaSalle-Peru lost against Sycamore back in December of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The LaSalle-Peru Cavaliers were just a bucket shy of victory and fell 49-48 to the Sycamore Spartans. The Cavaliers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

LaSalle-Peru's record is now 9-11. As for Sycamore, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four games, which provided a massive bump to their 8-12 record this season.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. LaSalle-Peru will host Streator at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. LaSalle-Peru is facing Streator at the right time seeing as Streator is stuck on a six-game losing streak. As for Sycamore, they will be playing at home against Conant at 5:15 p.m. on Monday.
