Volleyball Recap: Glenbard South's Luck Takes a Turn for the Worse on Saturday

It was a good run, but Glenbard South unfortunately witnessed the end of their four-game winning streak on Saturday. They fell just short of the Riverside-Brookfield Bulldogs by a score of 2-1. The Raiders were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Bulldogs apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in May of 2024.

Glenbard South now has a losing record of 14-15. As for Riverside-Brookfield, the victory (which was their eighth in a row) raised their record to 20-10.

Looking ahead, Riverside-Brookfield will face off against Hinsdale South at 5:30 p.m. on Monday. Glenbard South will be paying especially close attention to the Bulldogs' game: after the Bulldogs face off against the Hornets, they'll take on Glenbard South again at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
