Recap: Kettle Run Cougars vs. Fauquier Falcons
The Kettle Run Cougars won against the Fauquier Falcons on Tuesday with 46 points and they decided to stick to that point total again on Wednesday. Kettle Run took down Fauquier 46-30. Winning may never get old, but Kettle Run sure are getting used to it with their third in a row.
Kettle Run's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Erin Porter, who dropped a double-double on 18 points and 11 rebounds. That makes it two consecutive games in which Porter has scored at least 25% of Kettle Run's points. Another player making a difference was Ava Prysock, who scored 21 points.
Kettle Run's win bumped their record up to 3-1. As for Fauquier, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-4.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Kettle Run will take on Handley at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Handley is coming into the game hot, having won their last three games. As for Fauquier, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Manassas Park at 7:15 p.m. on Tuesday.
