Recap: Follett Panthers vs. Clarendon Broncos
After a string of three wins, the Follett Panthers's good fortune finally ran out on Friday. They took a serious blow against Clarendon, falling 64-15. Follett has struggled against Clarendon recently, as their match on Friday was their fifth consecutive lost matchup.
Gabriella Barton was Follett's leading scorer, having posted five points.
Kimber Wheatley held things down on the boards with seven rebounds. Wheatley took the lead distributing the ball, coming up with two assists.
Follett's loss dropped their record down to 4-4. As for Clarendon, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 6-1.
Follett will be staying on the road on Saturday to face off against McLean at 10:30 a.m. on December 2nd. McLean presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than Follett in Texas (McLean is ranked 319th, while Follett is ranked 763rd). As for Clarendon, they will head out on the road to face off against Vega at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
